Friendship is when you actually want to be friends with someone, normally because you share common interests and values. The Friend Zone is when you want to bang a girl but you’re too scared to make a move or she rejects you and offers “friendship”, which in reality is just a situation where you continue to hang around after being rejected whilst she takes advantage of you and uses you for money, favours or emotional support.
